Growth Capital
Growth capital can include debt and/or equity. Debt may be a combination of senior institutional and mezzanine funds, as well as preferred stock that bears interest. Growth capital, by definition, is raised as part of an agreed upon plan for the use of those funds. Typically, the funds are applied to expanding product lines, new hires, new business lines and acquisitions.
