As a buy side advisor, we receive a monthly retainer/advisory fee, plus a success fee per deal. Our scope of services may involve:
- Defining the industries/niches for focused searches.
- Establishing the metrics of a purchase, with variations to account for management depth, IP advantages, customer contacts, etc.
- Creating a plan to identify the A list of potential candidates.
- Assessing the financial condition and strength of the buyer client, and capability to access acquisition capital.
- Raising needed capital for larger transactions.
- Negotiating the purchase transaction on behalf of the buyer.
